(Ahiru is so cute X3
Oh dear, poor Kyros. And Edwin. Aw...)
Ezio: Where others are bound by morality or by law, remember: Everything is permitted.
Zack: Well, killing people is sorta an important part of being a soldier... But I always avoid it if I can.
Ahiru: I-I don't think I could... Autor: Me either. It's not even a question of the law. It's just that I wouldn't have the stomach. Ahiru: And I don't know if I'd want to. Technically Mytho and Rue killed the Raven, I guess, but now that I think about it, I never really considered the monster raven to be a person... Autor: That's an interesting thought.
Yuan: It goes without saying that I already have killed for some 'greater purpose.' But there's a point where you can go completely overboard in comparison to your goal.
Dhaos: ...
Do you believe in things like fate and destiny?

(Okay~ I'm Kazea! :D' New here, but was invited to post along with everyone~ So, I will~ ^^ Let's see how my Tales of the Elements cast does with questions...)
Kazea: Fate and destiny... /hmm That's a difficult question to answer, as it can be taken in many different ways... Perhaps there is such a thing--perhaps there isn't. Honestly, I can't say for sure. I can't decide on something like that, what is absolute truth and what isn't. For all I know, it could very well guide us... maybe even control us... If that is so, I chose to ignore it. I command my own life as far as I'm concerned, and no higher power is going to throw that off for me. If I don't like something--I will simply do my best to change it.
Kai: ...>.>'... Yeeeeeeeahhh... -.- I'm so not going all sentimental and wordy like that. Of course there isn't! D:< I do whatever the hell I want, and if someone has a problem with that, too bad! No 'god' or 'fate' or whatever you're talking about is gonna puppet me. -_-
Serafin: o.o' Mm, I don't know... Maybe? ^^' I don't really think about stuff like that, seems too serious and silly...~
Zephyrus: ...I have nothing to share on what my beliefs are. Why should anyone care anyway? Mind your own business and leave me alone...
Kitsume: ^^ I think there is probably a form of it in some way. We do have many deities who watch over us. Sometimes we just need a little... push... in our decisions and journeys.
Cedric: Fate and destiny? ^^ Ooh, how fun~ I hope it does! I want to see if I can fool it and do something else. Unless it involves a lady... I wouldn't mind an insight on my love life~
Ayame: ...It shall be bleak and dull, preferably behind bars...
Cedric: T.T" Aya-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan--
Ayame: Each of us has a destiny we must follow. What twists and turns it may take along the path reaching it is up to the choices we make as individuals. So, I suppose there is, in a way, a such thing...
Kikki: Of course there's fate and destiny, epuu~ ^^ Kami-jin tells me so, and he's a god. He knows these things! /ok
Everyone: . . . . . . .
Kikki: >_>'... I'm not crazy, epu! Quit staring at me like that! =_= I'll throw sharp objects!
Everyone: >.>' /swt
How important do you think emotions are to a situation, and life in general?

( Yay Kazea~ *is the one who invited her* XD And Ahiru is cute~) Anya: Emotions are important for everything we do... Sure, they might get in the way sometimes, but they also allow us to do the right thing... At least, that's what I think... Zain: Emotions, huh... Well, without them, people are nothing more than robots... Doing the same thing each day, following the 'logical' option... Only with emotions can people truly feel alive. Evalyn: I think emotions are very important. ^^ It's one of the thing that connects all of us, regardless of language. Edwin: I prefer not to allow my emotions to get in the way of my better judgment. Max: D: Emotions are stupid. Evalyn: E-eh? No they're not... Anya: Max, like you're one to talk. You show more emotion than anyone here. Max: DD: S-shut up! I do not! Edwin: /swt You do... Yvonne: Emotions get in the way... though they can also be useful to a certain degree. It highly depends on both the emotion and the situation. Kyros: As the dark lord, I am not to show any strong emotions. Sadness and fear I have overcome, and I do not know happiness... However, the emotions of others are to be used to accomplish my goals... Shasta: ^^ Exactly~ I'm so proud of how you've grown... <3 Kyros: There are some people you just can't use the emotions of for such things, though, right? I mean, I can't imagine Donahue getting emotional about anything... Shasta: Yeah... He's a stick in the mud. Kyros: o.o' Eh...? But he's never dirty... Shasta: ^^' That's... a saying... Donahue: Emotions only get in the way. Shasta: Aren't you married? Donahue: . . . . . . (And since this question's good for people from the second story...) Astir: Emotions are important... They define who we are... I think... Thabit: Emotions only quell logic. We are better off without them. Qismah: I do not comprehend 'emotions'. However, they are not important to my life or any situations I have found myself in. Question: What do you fear most?

(^o^ Welcome, Kazea~! We shall have funzies together. LOL.
...LOL at Donahue being married. XD)
Ezio: ...You know, I really can't think of anything. Sometimes your fear springs on you without warning.
Alucard: ...If something were to cause my blood to get the better of me, I...
Yuan: It's been a while since I've found myself genuinely afraid. I've panicked, but...
Ahiru: T__T I really don't like the butcher down that one side street in Kinkan. Autor: Of course not. For most of your life, you could have ended up on the menu. Ahiru: Yeah... But really, it would be horrible if something happened to Fakir, or Rue or Mytho... Or you! Autor: Yes... As for me? I'm... not very fond of horses...
(Also, I think Tales of Phantasia is a pretty cool guy. eh WHAT THE HECK IS THAT and doesn't afraid of anything. Much.)
What's your favorite fairytale/bedtime story?

(Thank you~ ^^ I like playing this, it's fun~ Thank Aya too for inviting me~ XDD' I laughed hard at Autor-san and his... fear of horses... And of course, Yuan... Panicked...? You've had more than enough times where you should have panicked, considering your epic fail list...)
Kazea: o.o Ooh, my favorite fairytale or bedtime story... ^^ That's hard... I've read so many of them--choosing one is almost too difficult... /hmm I suppose one that ends happily, and without the hero or heroine slaying a dragon would be nice... ^^' If you consider... me... at least... Heh heh... Kai: Fairytales... >.>' I-I don't like stupid things like that... Never heard any! Serafin: /gg Didn't you say that your mother used to tell you bedtime stories about brave knights and princes every night as a kid? You even wear that cape so you can look like a storybook hero and win the girl's heart... Kai: -=_='- Shut up, Serafin! Kazea: o.o'... ^^' Huh? Serafin: >:D... -^^- I like the story about the misunderstood dark knight who falls in love with the girl of his dreams, only he's too stupid and dense and ends up losing her to-- Kai: /annn *smacks him!* Serafin: Owwwww! x.x' That's child abuse! u.u' Oneeeeeesannnn! Kazea: *sigh* ^^''...
Zephyrus: ...Fairytales are a waste of time, as their only purpose is to plant false fantasies and hopes in the young or desperate.
Kitsume: ^^ There is a fable about a great phoenix who passed on the sacred and forgotten artes of healing to the fox demon clans. I loved hearing that tale from my mother as a child.
Cedric: Bedtime stories... I used to hear them from my parents, along with my brother. Growing up they're rather lost on me, I'm afraid. ^^ Although... reality isn't quite something I fathom these days.
Ayame: ...I tell stories of heroes and romantic escapades to the children at the orphanage, though I refuse to allow myself to indulge, or believe in them... Life is too real for such innocence...
Kikki: -^^- I love the legend about the hero Susano who slayed the eight-headed serpent Orochi, epuu~ He saved the maiden who was going to be sacrificed, and obtained a sword of gold! *_* If only it was real... the value of that weapon must be... hehehehe~
What is your favorite pastime activity when downtime is available to you?

(XD; Well, I read a fic once where Autor was trampled and killed by a horse-drawn carriage, so... ...And yeah, Yuan is totally downplaying his numerous experiences with things that induce panic. LOL.
ZOMG OKAMI or are you just familiar with Japanese mythology in general? LOLOLOL.
Hey hey I have a joke
Who is the god of Japanese Democrats?
...
OBAMATERASU.
*is shot*
Okay, seriously now.)
Ezio: Downtime? What downtime? Haha. Usually I spend it with Leonardo, or at the local brothel.
Yuan: What downtime? Between leading the Renegades and keeping up the guise of a Seraph, there's no 'downtime' for me. That's probably a good thing, actually.
Autor: I like to play the piano and compose when I have nothing to do. Ahiru: Yeah, you're always at a piano somewhere. As for me, um... I dunno. I'm hanging out with Pique and Lilie less and more with Fakir, and Rue and Mytho when they come to visit. Sometimes we get ice cream! Oh, and I love to swim! Autor: That's... not terribly surprising. Are you as good at swimming as a human as you are when you're a duck? Ahiru: Well, I don't have webbed toes or any of that stuff, but I'm much better at swimming than I am at dancing, yeah. Autor: You are getting better at ballet, though. Ahiru: Yep~!
Zack: Go out with Aerith, hang out with Seph, write letters to Mom and Dad, visit with the guys back in Second Class, play silly pranks on people... Sephiroth: ...Drag your friends into various misadventures. Zack: Hey, you know you followed me into some of them! Sephiroth: ...
((And you got ninja-edited by a Dreamer!))
Um... Do you believe in God(s)? Or if you do, do you think they're really just out to get you?

Emil: -Eyes Kratos and Yuan with a flat look.- Kratos: I believed you more than Mithos, as you technically gave the world mana...just not with this face. Emil: Hey! -Chases Kratos with tomatoes; hilarity ensues.-
Keele: Well - how to put this? The Greater Craymel Origin under oath of Ratatoskr and of a promise with Sekundies. That is the basic creationist theory of all Artes and how to use them well... And with that being said, there's an end point; too.
Takuma: Plenty! I'm more of a traditional Shintoist male; art and skills do come together; thus being that I believe in both Izanagi and Izanami strongly. The only one they give pranks to constantly is Kain. Poor guy, never a break...
Zexion: The powers behind light and dark - there for a reason that is unknown to sciences. They give us free will and yet keep true knowledge out of our grasps... Why?
EDIT!: If you've played any board games, could you explain?

(XD' Ah... Keele... and Emil... You both are so silly--but, hey, Kratos getting the butt of any joke is always hilarious, so.)
Kai: Dammit, no! >_> Please don't mention board games--
Serafin: -*_*- Ooooh, board games! I loooooove~ boards games~! Board games, card games, strategy games, too! My favorite is shogi! I'll explain that anytime! It's the greatest pastime in the world~ -^^-
Kai: x.x' Oh, come on... Please, no...
Serafin: Ahem! ^^ 'Shogi' is a variation of chess, invented in the Ithavell region by the Noatao ninja clans~ Their culture devised this unique form of chess that, instead of relying on colors and shapes, instead uses tan, wedge-shaped pieces carved out of wood or stone--which can be individually identified by the symbols of calligraphy painted upon them. Though it is a variation of chess in the other regions, it has become the traditional chess of Ithavell~
Kai: x_x My brain... Too many words... M-make it stop...
Serafin: Some rules of the typical chess apply to shogi. /ok The object of the game is still to force capture of the opposing king and put him in checkmate. The two players alternate, moving one piece in each turn, using the characteristic moves that pertain to each respective piece. Some of these moves are the same as those found in typical chess, while some are different. You still take the opposing players pieces by moving to the square they sit at, and only knights can jump over other pieces.
Kai: ...I'm... I-I'm going to die...
Kazea: -.- Kai... /swt
Serafin: The main differences in shogi involve 'promotions' and 'drops'. Promotions allow players to upgrade their original pieces to a better status, and give them new privileges on the board. Drops, the most unique part of shogi, allow players to put opposing pieces they've captured back into play to work for them. The rules to how these work are a long extensive process. There are also many more pieces in shogi than there are in typical chess~
Kai: *turns and hits his head repeatedly on the wall* Ow... Ow... Ow...
Kazea: *facepalm* ...You're so ridiculously immature...
Serafin: Well, I think you all sorta get it~ -^^- Who wants to play with me~? >:D
Everyone: . . . . . . . .
Serafin: -___- Plaaaayy wiiitttthhhh meeeeeee noooooww... *threatening*
Everyone: o_o''... /sw2 >.>'''...
Do you have a favorite animal? If so, what is it and why?

Ahiru: Ducks! Autor: ...>__>; Ahiru: But other than ducks, I really just love birds in general. They're all so friendly and nice! When I got turned back into a duck, it was so nice to be able to talk to them again. Autor: ...If we're both from after the end of the series, and you've already been turned back into a duck forever... how are we speaking now? Ahiru: ...Um...
Yuan: Animals are annoying. Noishe: .__. *whine*
Ezio: Aha... Animals are not my area of expertise, so to speak. My name is supposed to mean eagle, so I suppose we shall go with that.
Question: Dancing! Do you know how to do it?

(XD Poor Noishe...)
Anya: >.>' Not... really... I've never really thought about trying it, honestly.
Zain: Of course~ Ladies love a man who can dance. ^^ I can teach you, Anya~ Anya: >_>' I think I'll pass.
Evalyn: No... I'd really like to learn, though. ^^ I'd love to dance with someone special one day...
Edwin: No. I'm too busy with my studies to bother.
Max: ...>.>' Maybe... Evalyn: o.o Really? You can dance? Anya: O.o' I... didn't expect that one... Max: >_>'' S-shut up! It's one of the classes I had to take when I was younger!
Yvonne: ...Yes... though I have not danced in years...
Kyros: Yes. While it is not a skill needed for ruling the country, it is one for presentation. On top of that, balls can be used to bring together the nobles, which I can use to my favor... Shasta: ^^ Exactly, my lord~ And, as the one who taught him, I know quite well how to dance~ What about you, Donahue? Donahue: ...I have no comment on the matter. Kyros: o.o Have you taken your wife dancing before...? Donahue: ......
Astir: ^^ I love dancing...
Cassie: >.>' No, and I would rather not try...
Medea: I...I used to dance... >.>' with someone...
Thabit: ...Dancing is a pointless endeavor.
Q: What do you believe is your best skill?
|

|
Post by kazeatetsujen on May 14, 2011 15:36:25 GMT -5
(XD'... Donahue dancing...)
Kazea: I'm required to be skilled in many, if not most practices. My best would likely be the musical prowess that applies to Gathering. Most people cannot master it, so I'm very lucky.
Serafin: ^^ Probably magic, though people say my high-leveled strategic tactics are really rare~
Kai: My best skill...? >.>' Uh... I'm good with swords... and can control my Darkness well... Serafin: He's also turned romantic failures into an art~ XD' Kai: *hits!* Serafin: x.x'' Oww!
Zephyrus: . . . . . . Cedric: ^^'... Best not to ask Zephie-chu... Zephyrus: ...Hmph...
Kitsume: ^^ I can heal using the Fire Element--which is most often unheard of and impossible for the typical healer.
Cedric: ^^ I'm good at everything~ A better question would be what skill isn't my best~ I guess archery stands out the most, though~ Ayame: ...He lacks any and all kinds of people skills... Cedric: DD: I do not~! You can't accuse me of that when you don't have them~ What's your skill anyway?! Ayame: ...I am good at my job, which is why you'll soon be in jail... Cedric: u.u' Aw... Not my ideal location for a romantic first date... Ayame: >.>... Foolish knight... Cedric: u.u...
Kikki: ^^ I'm a ninja~ I have all sorts of skills-- Everyone: Stealing. Kikki: DD: Heeey~ I'm no thief! u.u'' Everyone: >.>'...
---
Melody: o.o' My best skill...? ^^ Probably music. Shane: >_> Psh, I don't have any memorable skills. Melody: ^^' You sing and play too... Shane: D: No I don't! Melody: o.o' Actually, at the guild academy, didn't you get better grades than me? You qualify for promotional leadership exams... Shane: >.>'''... Melody: o.O... How did you get better grades than me...? Shane: W-what's that supposed to mean?! DD:
Do you have any irrational fears?

Anya: Not really. Raymond: What about the time you contacted me while you were hiding from a wasp? Anya: D: R-Ray...! I was a kid then...! And you can't blame me for not wanting to get stung... Raymond: o.o Ah yes, don't some wasps have a venomous sting? Anya: ...You're not helping...
Zain: Anya~ I seem to have developed caligynephobia~ Quick, only you can cure me~ Anya: Cali...what? Zain: ^^ Fear of beautiful women, such as yourself~ Perhaps if you kiss me, I'll feel better~ Anya: ...I'll give you a fear of women if you're not careful. Zain: XD' I'm joking, I'm joking...
Evalyn: ^^' I'm kinda scared of snakes...
Edwin: >.>' After the experience in Apophis, I'm inclined to say necrophobia. Anya: >.>' You're never going to let that go, are you? Edwin: Hm... Perhaps a 'fear of Anya's plans' would be more fitting. Anya: D: W-wha... Edwin! My plans aren't that bad! Edwin: . . . . . Anya: ...>.>' Sometimes...
Max: Of course not! Anya: So... what do you call your reaction when people steal your hat, then? Max: DD: That's not a fear! I just hate it!
Yvonne: ...If I ever feel myself growing afraid, then I simply must push past it. I have no paralyzing fears. Kyros: You do have one that stopped you from reaching your goal. A fear of killing... Yvonne: ...I do not suggest you act friendly with me. I will kill you soon enough... Kyros: I'm acting friendly...? I suppose I need to amend that, then... Yvonne: . . . . .
Kyros: No. I'm not afraid of anything. Shasta: ^^ That's right~ I made sure of that~ By the way, I'm not afraid of anything, either~ What about you, Donahue? Donahue: ...I should think that obvious. Shasta: *gasp* You're afraid of bugs?! Kyros: o.o' Eh? Really? Donahue: /swt No. I have no fears. Shasta: Awww... I'll find a fear of yours one day! Donahue: . . . . .
Astir: u.u'' *hiding from everyone*
Cassie: >.>' I'm... not the best with heights...
Anya: ...I notice how all the guys managed to avoid answering the question properly... Max: D: I said I don't, so I don't! Zain: I bet Max is claustrophobic~ Max: DD: What are you, stupid?! Of course I'm not claustrophobic! If I got stuck somewhere, I'd find a way out! There's nothing anyone can keep me in! Edwin: Hm... Perhaps he has belonephobia? Zain: Ooh, that's good... Or maybe bibliophobia! Max: What the... Speak Hodiernan! Edwin: Fear of needles and fear of books, respectively. Max: DD: I don't have either of those things...! Anya: So... What's a fear of floods? Edwin: ...That was one statement I made when I was younger on the safety of Eunomia's structure. Before I moved there, even. Anya: XD' Uh-huh... What about you, Zain? Zain: Already told you~ Anya: ^^' I mean seriously... Zain: Hmm... If I had a fear of loneliness, would you hold me~? Anya: . . . . . Forget I asked.
Q: How do you know what you see every day is reality and not just some complex dream?
|

Post by NortheasternWind on Jun 1, 2011 10:40:00 GMT -5
Ahiru: I know it's not a dream! We defeated the Monster Raven, so Drosselmeyer's Story doesn't have any hold on us anymore! Autor: But Drosselmeyer said that even he himself might be in someone else's Story, and he wouldn't even know it. Ahiru: That is a frightening thought... But I'm sure they want us to have a happy ending, too. It's just Drosselmeyer who's a little nuts. Autor: Anyway, there really is no way to tell. If this is a dream, it doesn't look like we'll be leaving it anytime soon. So we should just make sure it is a happy dream. Ahiru: Yep!
Ezio: Dreams don't hurt.
Yuan: What he said.
Alucard: ...I have spent 300 years sleeping. I would like to think I know the difference between dreams and reality.
Zack: If it's a dream, there isn't a whole lot we can do about it, huh? Sephiroth: I would much rather live in reality if at all possible. Zack: This is my reality. Even if it turns out it isn't real, I'm still the same person I would have been if it really happened. So why does it matter? Sephiroth: ... Zack: I definitely think you're real, though.
At what point is it okay to give up?

(Whoa, I live!! Happy New Year's Eve.)
Kratos: I believe my own family and allies spell everything out perfectly. There is no "right time," for anyone to give up at anything, unless it's pestering me about tomatoes. -Glances to Yuan and Emil.- Emil: Um, uh... -Yeah.- Depends on what you're trying to give up on. -Can think of a few times he fled from a battle for one reason; or technically "threw" the fight.- ...In battle, it's usually a bad time unless it's with pillows or snowballs!
Takuma: Giving up? Er, this question's vague... Ah; when you want to be in love, maybe you give up and let your emotions get the best of you? Just a thought...
Zexion: No, not even if you're surrounded by nullwits, the goal is one's future. There is no room for failure in regaining one's heart. -Poor Nobody workaholic...-
Keele: While I would normally never give up, so to say, I would rather pursue tests of mind, rather than strength. -Poor bookworm.-
Ratatosk: When you're in love, it is losing to yourself should one fight those feelings. And for this stupidity; I'll ask you something... What are your dreams/aims/what have you for the future?

(Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Takuma, it is a perfectly specific question *shifty eyes* Also Ratatosk why you gotta be a jerk all the time. At least you know stuff about loooooooooove... EDIT: PAGE THREE GET. \o/ DoW EDIT: Lol, no. I just killed a double-post of yours, still page 2...for now. EDIT: MAAAAAN, SCREW YOU. XD) Ahiru: Hm... I don't know! I want to be at least a decent ballerina someday, I guess... Autor: That day is far off indeed. But as long as you practice, I see no reason why you wouldn't reach that point eventually. Ahiru: Yeah... You're right! It'll take forever, but I'll make it someday! Autor: As for me... I must learn to be content with my inability to write Stories. Ahiru: That's not a dream, Autor... Autor: No, but it leaves room for a new dream, if ever I find one. Ahiru: I'm sure you will someday, Autor! Maybe be a composer... Ezio: I have spent all my life fighting the Templars. Someday, I will put down my blade and raise my own family, fate permitting, but that day is far off. (-unless you've played Revelations and watched Embers ) Yuan: ...Now that Cruxis has fallen, I'm not sure. For now, I'll content myself with watching over the combined worlds. It sounds dull, but I'm sure it will be a lot of work. Dhaos: ...All I desire is Derris-Kharlan's salvation. Whether or not I live to witness it is irrelevant. Zack: I want to be a hero! Sephiroth: ... Zack: Seph here's heard too much of it from Angeal to want to talk about it, really. But Angeal was right: you need to have dreams, even if they're of the impossible kind-- it's one of the most treasured possessions you can have. Sephiroth: ...Some would say you are already a hero... Zack: Well, that would depend! What do you think? What makes a hero?
