I'll be trying out for Souji Seta from Persona 4 o:
It had been another rainy day in Inaba. They seemed to be getting more and more rain lately, and it just wasn't letting up. It bothered Souji, because with rain came the fog, and when the fog came, something bad always happened. The feeling made him uneasy for the past couple of days, but somehow being at home with Dojima and Nanako calmed him down.
Nanako had turned on the news channel as he sat down beside her, while Dojima had yet to come back. He was working late again, as usual. It was a good thing Souji was there to keep the poor girl company, but she really did need a dad around the house, no matter how grown up she might have been in that little body of hers.
The sound of the news announcer on TV had claimed that the rain would let up in about three days from now. Three days for him to be miserable. Three more days for him to go into the TV and stop this. He could never tell Nanako about that sort of thing.
He chuckled upon hearing the small girl complaining about the rain, it coming out like 'Aww..more rain? That means I won't be able to play outside with anyone..'
"It's alright Nanako. We can play together inside until it gets better outside."
That made the girls face light right up before saying, "Really?! Souji, you're the best!"
It was the least he could do anyways. Course unless he was dragged out by Yosuke or Kanji or someone, he'd have to either make up an excuse, or tell them no. He didn't like having double plans at the same time.
As if fate didn't hate him enough, his phone began to vibrate in his pocket. Taking it out, he looked it over and saw it was Yosuke. The boy sighed and flipped open the phone, placing it by his ear.
"Yosuke?"
"Hey Souji. Um, I sort of have a favor to ask. You see, my dad's taking some time off at Junes, and I'm sort of the only one here besides a few more employees. Do you think you could come and help me out? Please man, I'm begging you! It's going to be so busy this weekend.."
There we go. Perfectly executed plan wrecker. It wasn't like he disliked Yosuke for it, but the timing seemed fishy.
It seemed like Nanako had heard him through the phone, and nodded her head.
"Souji, helping Yosuke-kun is more important than spending time with me. You should go."
"Are you sure, Nanako?" He had put the phone down at this point so Yosuke couldn't hear.
"Mmhmm! We can hang out on one of the other rainy days. Don't worry about it!"
Smiling, Souji returned to the phone and spoke. "Yeah, I'll help out." Yosuke's excitement and relief was dramatic.
"Thanks so much Souji! I owe you big time, partner." With a click, it was done. His day had been booked for tomorrow.
So now he had three days to help Yosuke, play with Nanako, and jump into the TV.
