Lezard Valeth:
She... She killed me. Drove that blade through my flesh. Thrice becursed little girl. Steals my dear Lenneth from me... She should bow to me... Worship me... Honour my name...
But... I don't... Hate her. I feel... A Weight lifted from my shoulders. I don't love her anymore. Lenneth will never be mine... But all I have now, is revenge. Revenge for past humiliations.
For my failures.
I am Lezard Valeth.
My mastery of the Arcane, surpasses the GODS!
The Philosipher's Stone speaks to me, informs me of what I must know, it tells me the world's secrets...
Told me of how to make Homunculi... How to reverse-engineer Godhood... But that I guess means... Since I have posessed the body of a Homunculus, formed in my image... That...
I am a God.
My power, My Immortality...
Yes. I am a God.
I am Divine.
Supreme.
All, shall bow before the new god.

An Original Character in the Avatar Universe:
Name: Soshi Zhao
Age: 20
Gender: Masculine
Bending Element: Fire
Appearance: Soshi is a large man, standing at a tall 6’ 3”, and having a shoulder span of roughly two and a half feet across. His body is packed with muscle, having worked with metal his entire life. He has fair skin, rather unblemished by anything, giving him the appearance of being carved from Marble. His long soft hair is an inky black, usually bound back in a ponytail, and his eyes shine pale silver, inherited from his mother.
Soshi began forging a suit of armour when his father died. Rubbing it down with Ash, and other substances, the once grey steel is now White, showing his mourning. It starts with an undercoat of padded leather armour, which protects his skin, and the clothing underneath, from the blows of the metal hammering on the armour. Then, over Chain mail leggings, Soshi has greaves of plate armour, the kanji for his family engraved, with volcanic charcoal rubbed in, making it stand out as black against white, on the knee plates. Then, as it continues down, his boots are formed of Plate as well.
On his chest, over the Padded Leather, he wears a chain mail coat, which clasps in the front, being more of a tunic before it passes by his waist. On the backs of the Gauntlets is the Kanji “Shin”… Death. The Gauntlets are made of Plate, and go over his chain coat until roughly the elbow. Finally, over the shoulders he wears Pauldron’s and Vambraces which have etched into them the design of feathers. Soshi has calculated this that when he bends, they will be bathed in shadow, and fire.
Finally, He wears a Cuirass, and a collar which is raised around his neck, protecting it. He goes helmless, but given the raised Torque, he is not worried.
The entire thing is usually covered with an Ash white Cloak, which Soshi wears when hiding who he is. The Hood allows him to obscure his face, but still stand out, commanding a room. When let fly behind him, the cloak gives him a nearly angelic countenance.
When not in battle, Soshi usually wears soft black breeches, and a burgundy tunic, which both tie off at the ankles and wrists respectively, as well as the breeches tying off at the waist. When not in battle, Soshi neglects wearing shoes.
Soshi carries a Longbow, formed of fine Ash wood, a No-Dachi, with the kanji “Patriarch” engraved into it’s blade on one side, and “Protection” on the other. The blade stands at about Seven feet tall, and is worn over his back at an angle, pulling out about three quarters of the way down it’s sheathe, allowing him to draw it at that angle effectively. His last weapon, for closer in work, is a straight, one handed Jian, which is unembellished. Its steel is of slightly worse quality than the near perfect steel used for the Armour and No-Dachi, but is still of fine make.
Lastly, more for utility purposes, Soshi carries a knife, which in a pinch, could likely be used in a fight.
Personality: Soshi’s passions lie in working with Steel. For almost his entire life, and through his education with private tutors, Soshi has studied forge craft. This has given him an understanding of the equipment he carries, and his own limits, and has contributed to his muscle growth. He is also well educated, having devoted much of his spare time to reading, and studying Law and other subjects. Thanks to some nepotism on behalf of his father, Soshi was a Second-Lieutenant in the navy, and was able to continue studying, only now he was a Soldier, and able to bear arms with impunity, as well as accompany his father wherever he needed to. This has lent Soshi a sense of entitlement. He believes that anything he puts his mind to, he can obtain. He knows no true limits.
He has a severe dislike of disloyalty, and disorder. Even though he personally disagrees with many of Fire Lord Zuko’s policies, he believes that open rebellion would destroy his country, and as such he keeps quiet, and is known more for quietly dissenting, rather than insubordination. His only other dislikes are gaudy perfumes, which he finds burn his nose, and people who drink heavily, with little care for their own safety.
Soshi has a strong will, and is charismatic, allowing him to inspire those around him. This has an effect on fire benders, who find themselves driven with him on their side. Combined with his style of fire bending, which he uses to augment other peoples attacks, he is certainly a supportive presence on any field of combat. He is also an obvious target sadly, and has been wounded many times, thankfully healing with no great signs of injury. His only other weakness is his Pride. He cannot take insult well, and is known to be provoked easily. This usually ends badly, since Soshi believes that once he starts something, he should finish it, and is known for breaking the arms of his opponents in an Agni Kai.
A quirk of Soshi’s is his tendency to anthropomorphize metal objects, be it his armour, or his blades, referring to them as proud, or other terms, implying a connection to them that could only come from having forged them. He is particularly fond of saying that his No-Dachi was as stubborn as a Bull-Ox, but that he was more so, and that its cry of defeat was an exhilarating experience.
Soshi once was engaged, but she was one of the Soldiers who fell in the North Pole assault, while Soshi was in command of one of the units guarding the retreat. He has taken her death, as well as his father’s as an inspiration to serve more faithfully, and to prove himself worthy of the love she gave him.
It is only now, in his recent years, that Soshi has felt his heartstrings tugging in his chest. Memories of an Agni Kai he watched long past, of a woman… a girl at the time, no more than two years his junior, who shared his sense of order, his same drive. He remembered her raven hair, and her amber eyes, more perfect than even his yellow iris’. The Princess Azula. He could become close to her… Serve her. Soshi was nothing alone, but with her to lend himself to; he could contribute to a greater whole. He let himself flow through those thoughts, and knew he would wait for the perfect opportunity.
History: Soshi was born to the then Commander Zhao, and his wife, Kaya. Zhao had married up, his wife being a Noblewoman, whose parents had died in the war. This granted Soshi some of the best education he could have.
As his father continued through his Career, Soshi was nearby, filled with Pride, and learning everything a Noble needed to know. The Kasai Family, an older line, whom he was now the heir of, held much of their power in the hinterlands of the Fire Nation, but still kept an estate in the Capital. While Soshi bore his father’s name, there was a second set of paperwork, which his mother had made up, identifying him as Soshi Kasai, should he ever need it.
He grew up and learnt of his family, her mother’s younger brother, who was a Diplomat, and when there was an uprising, learned of his Elder cousin, a Young woman named Futaba. That was when the rivalry between Soshi and Futaba began. While Soshi was a skilled Soldier, well rounded in his contemporary education, and his militant, Futaba excelled in the art of war, and was far more skilled a Fire bender than he.
But despite this, it was only the fact Futaba served on his Father’s vessel before her promotion that made Soshi disdainful towards her. But that changed when he met one of her friends, a Young woman named Jaya. He was smitten, and the two were happy together.
Then everything changed on the day of the Assault on the North Pole. Soshi had finally been enlisted, and was part of the reinforcing wave, meant to root out any resistance there might have been after the initial attack, but when everything turned belly up, Soshi and his unit had to hold the Line while everyone fell back.
His unit was decimated. Him, and five other benders were all that was left, and he saw them, Futaba, and Jaya. He led his men to them, reinforcing them, and they were able to hold the line. But a lucky shot ruined Soshi’s life. Jaya was wounded, fatally. Despite everything he tried, the techniques he had been taught to restart her heart in his studies, he could to save her. She died in his arms, and Futaba had the grim duty of telling Soshi his father had died as well.
He was destroyed, and once Futaba brought him home, Kaya was able to do little to help him, her own grief eventually driving her over the edge. Futaba was called to duty, and Soshi was left alone with his memories, which he escaped by embracing the Forge once again. He forged armour which would defend him. Jaya’s last breath was on his mind, that last kiss he gave her. Fire bending was breath, and Soshi’s fire’s fuelled everything he did now.
He would make it to honour her, and his father. Everything he lost, all his sorrow, all his pain, he poured into his armour. He then forged new weapons. His armour had been hard, but the Swords would be harder. This was his anger however, and he found his flames burning hotter than he could have imagined.
Soon, he had made them. It was done. Three years. From his Seventeenth, to his twentieth, he had spent. He had not been called on to serve more than occasionally to quell riots near his home, and now he was all but forgotten. Soshi Zhao was a remnant of himself he had to hide. His father’s name was still reviled, and so Soshi Kasai began to be seen in Court, an elegant young noble, who made an effort to bring order from the chaos the war, had started.
Soshi’s memories still plagued him, but he did not let them weigh him down. He had to do right by those memories. His memories also brought to mind the girl he had met so long ago, the Princess. He would find a way to protect her. She was free, and Soshi feared she may have enemies. He was lost, and if he could find her, maybe she could give him a purpose. If he could protect her… He could redeem himself for Jaya’s death.

Another Original character, from a Zelda Forum.
The Basics
Name:: ‘Prince’ Peter Seru Nickname: Invictus Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Age: 27 Race: Former Hylian, now a twisted dweller of the Dark Realm
Personality:
List 4 personality traits: Driven Honourable Courageous Lustful
Overall Personality: (3-5 sentences)
Peter Seru is fearless. He has had his mind broken by the powers of the Dark Realm, and as such has lost something as pitiful as fear. His fear has turned to drive. He will work tirelessly for his Superiors, and those who stand with him. His Soul is Silver, not black. He will never strike from behind, nor will he cheat in battle. His sole weakness is the flesh. He was taken into the dark realm thirteen years ago, just as he was awakening to the charms of female company, and thusly the Darkness twisted that, and destroyed him.
Appearance:
Hair: Long dark brown hair, pulled back into a ponytail.
Eyes: Pale green irises.
Body: Tall, standing at nearly Six foot Six, Peter’s build is heavily muscular, but not in a way that compromises his manoeuvrability. His skin is beautiful and an almost snowy white, another side effect of the darkness.
What style of clothing: Peter wears black Plate Mail. The suit is nearly all solid plates, one across his chest, two for his shoulders, two that wrap around his upper arm, one over his elbow, with chain around his interior joint, and another two around his forearms. His Gauntlets are multiple small plates that bend easily for him.
His chest plate extends, covering his stomach and abdomen, and it has a matching part around his back. He has a belt of solid Chain and scale that the Grieves and the Cuirass clip into, allowing him ease of manoeuvrability. His leggings are again solid plates, which are separated by smaller, more flexible plates at the joints. Finally, his boots are soft leather, with plate riveted onto them. His helm shows only his eyes, nose, and mouth, the rest being covered in black metal. He wears a dark purple cloak, which serves a dual purpose of keeping him warm, and hiding his armour from lookers on.
Played by? Seru
What do you like?
Likes: (Least 5)
Gerudo’s (Peter is attracted to the warrior spirit of the Gerudo women.) Combat (Adrenaline is an addiction for Peter, and combat is better than even the charms of a Gerudo woman for generating it.) Dry Climates (Peter wears Metal Armour, so moisture causes no end of problems with rust) The Forces of Darkness (Peter is now a Soldier of the Dark, and will always feel at home among Ganon’s servants.) Metalwork (Peter is an accomplished crafter of Arms and Armour, and as such knows quality Metal. He will even take mundane, but well made weapons over even obviously magical, but less skilfully made ones.)
Dislikes: (Least 5)
The Master Sword (In his own words: “Using the Master Sword is cheating. There is no skill in wielding a Sword that instantly kills ones foes.”) Zoras (“To the fish, they are the bane of any Metal wielding man, and had I my way, they would be on a plate, not annoying my lord.”) Princess Zelda (“A queen so lofty that many of her Servants likely have never seen her face, she stands between my lord and victory.”) Spiders (“Why my Lord Ganon keeps these damn things around is beyond me. They are slow of wit, liable to bite even him, and in general disgust any sane person”) Explosives (“To use a Bomb is to win, but cause property damage. To use a Sword is to win, and to keep the property.”)
I want to know your family.
Hometown: Hyrule Castle Town Father’s Name: Sanctus Seru Father’s Job: Knight of the King Mother’s Name: Celeste Seru Mother’s Job: Knight of the King Siblings: None Other Relations: Peter has some family whom he does not remember much of, but he has shed any ties to them, and would likely be unfazed if he met them in battle.

Role Play Example Please:
Combat is invigorating. As is Lust. It burns within the body of it’s holder. Peter knew this well. He was sparring with one of the Gerudo, the beautiful women who served his Lord Ganon. There radiant forms made his blood burn within his veins, but he ignored it for now, focused on the fight. His Cloak was discarded, laying atop a crate, as he held his blade, a large mass of Straightened, filed, and forged steel, beautifully tended to, and cared for by the man holding it himself. Almost as tall as he, and the width of his Thigh, it was an inch thick at it’s centre, and nearly razor edged along it’s border, leaving a space near the end, where the blade ended. The Zweihander was without a cross guard, but had an extended grip, allowing Peter to use broad sweeping strikes. It lacked anything special for a pommel, just a slight jut out for his hands to find when making a Large slash.
He blocked a set of blows from the Scimitars his opponent was wielding, and span around, with a broad sweeping cut, and missed. She jumped back, and he threw his hand outwards when she advanced, making her lean back, and then his sword came around. She barely dodged away in time, only to notice where he had struck.
She smiled, before rushing at him, her abdomen showing a single drop of blood from where his sword had nicked her. He sheathed his sword, and tossed it to the side, catching her tackle, and falling to the ground. “You get first blood, Invictus.” “I concede victory to you, my beautiful companion.”
